The different layers of the flysch hold clues and reveal mysterious trails that allow us to understand life on the ocean floor millions of years ago.

The replica you can see here was produced in 2018 and corresponds to a large concentration of Scolicia from 54 million years ago. A few weeks later, half of the original layer was washed away by rain and sea erosion.
